Financial Assistance
Implementing Program For TCSRD
Building Capacity

a) Funding agencies( Government organisation and NGO)

The initial step of engagement with the community involves conducting participatory rural appraisals (PRA) for understanding the needs of the community. Once the projects are selected which cater to a particular community need, detailed project proposals are formulated. As per necessity, financial assistance is solicited from funding agencies. Conversely, the funding agencies too approach the company with request for implementing support in the concerned area. A Memorandum of Understanding is drawn up, stipulating the role of each partner. Progress reports as well as audited financial reports are submitted as per the requirement of the agency. TCSRD is as an implementing agency for the projects funded partially or fully by NGO/government. The Child’s Environment project supported by UNICEF/ DFID, Swasth Aagan project in collaboration with Population Foundation of India, Watershed project in partnership with DRDA, WASMO; NABARD for formation of SHGs; SRTT for the technical and financial support towards salinity mitigation initiatives; SDTT for land reclamation project are some of the examples of programs funded by external agencies.

b) Financial institutions

TCSRD facilitates linkages with banks (NABARD, SBI, and BOB etc.) and other financial institutions to help the community avail credit for micro finance and livelihood projects.
